#50 won't compile with gnome3

it seems like revelation won't compile if gnome3 is installed.

arch linux switched over to gnome 3 as default and even if i don't use gnome 3 (using xfce) i can't compile revelation. if i am correct, then applets are removed in gnome 3 for gnome shell. maybe it shouldn't be so hard to remove the applets? as it seems to be a side feature and i would love to keep revelation even without gnome.

configure ends up this:

configure: error: failed to find module gnomeapplet

this should effect quite a few people as i saw it after some google searching. seems similar on gentoo:

would love to see a fix soon since i got all my passwords stored in revelation and i can't find any better password manager.

    There are two options: drop the applet or make it conditional. I'm trying the second, hope to have a patch very soon.

    Made applet building conditional and disabled by default. Code is on master.

    got it to work! thanks allot! there will probably be more problems in future since some of the dependencies will be removed in future, as well. sad to see such a good tool fading without any good replacement.
